President Hassan Sheikh Receives Warm Welcome in Gaalkacyo

Gaalkacyo, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, accompanied by H.E. President of Galmudug State Ahmed Abdi Karie, received a warm welcome this afternoon at Abdullahi Issa Airport in Gaalkacyo, where thousands of residents gathered to meet the President and his delegation.

H.E. President Ahmed Abdi Karie highlighted the importance of Gaalkacyo to Galmudug and Somalia as a whole, while also reflecting on the history of efforts to establish peace in the city.

President Ahmed Abdi Karie also thanked the people of Gaalkacyo for the warm welcome they extended to H.E. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
