President Hassan Sheikh Receives Senior Pakistan Air Force Delegation

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Commander-in-Chief of the Somali Armed Forces, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, received a senior delegation from the Pakistan Air Force at the Presidential Palace.
The delegation was led by Air Marshal Muhammad Sarfraz, Air Defence Commander and Deputy Commander of the Pakistan Air Force.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Defence, H.E. Ahmed Moallin Fiqi, Commander of the Somali National Army, Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Mohamed Mohamud, and Commander of the Somali Air Force, Brig. Gen. Abdirisaaq Mahmoud Haji.
The meeting focused on advancing the development of the Somali Air Force, with particular emphasis on strengthening its capabilities, improving the quality and training of personnel, and enhancing defence cooperation between Somalia and Pakistan.
The efforts form part of plans to develop and build the Somali Air Force, accelerate the work of the Somali Armed Forces General Command and strengthen Somalia’s air defence capabilities.
