President Hassan Sheikh Participates in the Opening of the 81st UN General Assembly Session

New York, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud participated in the opening of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Later, the President will address the Assembly on the country’s progress on advancing economic reforms, eradicating the threat of international terrorism, and implementing direct elections.
