President Hassan Sheikh Congratulates Kosovo on Independence Day

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has conveyed his warmest congratulations and sincere best wishes to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, H.E. Dr. Vjosa Osmani, and through her to the Government and people of Kosovo, on the occasion of the country's Independence Day.

In his message, the President noted that this important national anniversary stands as a symbol of Kosovo's resilience and its steadfast commitment to sovereignty, democratic governance, and the promotion of peace and prosperity.

President Hassan Sheikh commended the progress achieved under President Osmani's leadership and expressed his earnest wishes for the continued stability, development, and success of Kosovo.

The President affirmed that the Federal Republic of Somalia highly values the friendly relations and mutual respect that characterize the ties between the two nations, and remains committed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding the partnership in areas of shared interest for the benefit of both peoples.
