President Hassan Sheikh: “My Message During the Galmudug Tour was for Peace and Unity”

Gaalkacyo, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said the central message of his visit to Galmudug was to strengthen peace and unity among the Somali people.

Speaking at a luncheon held in his honour and that of his delegation, H.E. President Hassan Sheikh briefed the community on progress and achievements in security, state-building, completion of the Constitution and implementation of the direct electoral system.

H.E. President Hassan Sheikh called on the community to support the national agenda and play an active role in efforts to strengthen security, unity, statehood and the country’s development.
