Petroleum Minister Meets Turkish Ambassador to Discuss Energy Cooperation

MOGADISHU (SONNA) – The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Dahir Shire Mohamed, received Türkiye’s Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Ferhat Alkan, at the ministry headquarters to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation in the petroleum sector.

The discussions focused on shared interests, strengthening the longstanding ties between Somalia and Türkiye, and exploring ways to develop cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
