Parliament, Cabinet Discuss Legislative Priorities

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Acting President of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Speaker of the House of the People, H.E. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur Jama, received Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, at his office.

The two leaders discussed strengthening cooperation between the House of the People and the Federal Government, in accordance with the Constitution, national laws and the interests of the Somali people.

The meeting also focused on accelerating the consideration and passage of priority legislation related to key national responsibilities before the House of the People.
