PM Hamza Opens Banadir Trade Fair in Mogadishu

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, today officially opened the Banadir Trade Fair held in Hodan District of the Banadir Region.

The Prime Minister, who toured the various sections of the fair, commended Somali women for their prominent role in developing trade, working on social affairs, and their visible innovation in the country.

"I congratulate you for the efforts of Somali women, their innovation, and how they have dared to organize the Banadir Trade Fair. I pledge that the Somali government will stand by the women behind this innovation," said Prime Minister Hamza.

PM Hamza visited the sections of the fair one by one and encouraged the youth who played a major role in making the exhibition possible, noting that the DanQaran Government places special priority on supporting small businesses that are growing.
