PM Hamza Appoints New Minister of Ports and Marine Transport

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, has appointed the Minister of Ports and Marine Transport of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Prime Minister Hamza, having considered Article 120, paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia, the biography, experience and knowledge of the nominee, and having taken into account the advice of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, appointed Mr. Abdulkadir Omar Macalin as Minister of Ports and Marine Transport.

The Prime Minister urged Mr. Abdulkadir to observe transparency and diligence in the discharge of his duties.
