Office of the Attorney General Investigates Abuse of Somali Woman, Vows Legal Action

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Office of the Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Somalia has announced that it is investigating a group of youths accused of abusing a Somali woman, warning that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found responsible for the incident.
According to a statement issued by the Office, authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into a disturbing incident that circulated on social media, involving several youths who allegedly committed the abuse against a Somali woman in Mogadishu.
The statement further emphasized that firm measures will be taken against all individuals found to have participated in the act, as well as those involved in disseminating immoral and offensive content on social media platforms.
All security agencies have been instructed to apprehend and bring before the law anyone connected to such offenses.
The Office of the Attorney General also issued a strong warning to Somali youth who use social media, urging them to refrain from engaging in criminal and unethical activities online. It stressed that anyone found committing or promoting such acts will face legal consequences in accordance with the law.
