New Director General Assumes Office at Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The State Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia’s Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Abuka Jeylaani Sheikh, on Saturday officiated the handover ceremony between the newly appointed Director General, Dr. Abdinaafic Ahmed Abdullahi, and the outgoing Director General, Ibrahim Adan Ibrahim (Nadaara).

During the ceremony, the outgoing Director General, Ibrahim Adan Ibrahim (Nadaara), wished his successor success in carrying out his responsibilities and encouraged him to build on ongoing initiatives to further strengthen the ministry’s performance and improve service delivery.

For his part, the new Director General, Dr. Abdinaafic Ahmed Abdullahi, commended the dedication and achievements of his predecessor, praising his significant contribution to the development of the ministry.

Speaking at the event, State Minister Abuka Jeylaani Sheikh lauded the outgoing Director General for his accomplishments and welcomed the new Director General, urging him to accelerate ongoing efforts and further advance the ministry’s work.
