National Internal Security Conference Opens in Mogadishu

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The National Internal Security Conference officially opened in Mogadishu on Tuesday, bringing together senior government officials and security stakeholders to discuss strengthening internal security and building sustainable security institutions.
The conference is attended by representatives from the Federal Government of Somalia, security agencies, Federal Member States and other stakeholders involved in the country’s security affairs.
Participants are discussing Somalia’s current security situation, existing challenges and strategies to enhance coordination and cooperation among security institutions and different levels of government.
The conference is also expected to contribute to efforts to strengthen security institutions and establish a more coordinated and sustainable national security framework.
