National Independent Electoral Commission Launches Voter Registration in Eldher

Eldher, (SONNA) – The National Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (NIEBC) today launched the voter registration campaign in Eldher District of Galgaduud Region as preparations for Somalia’s one-person, one-vote elections continue.

Residents turned out in large numbers, forming long queues to register and participate in the country’s democratic electoral process.

The registration drive is part of the nationwide voter registration campaign being conducted by the Commission to facilitate inclusive participation in Somalia’s upcoming one-person, one-vote elections.
