Mogadishu Mayor Visits Vocational School in Djibouti

Djibouti, (SONNA) — The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), on Tuesday visited a vocational school in Djibouti City during his official visit to Djibouti.

The school provides training and skills related to heavy freight vehicles, logistics management and coordination, which are important to the smooth operation of freight and port services.

During the visit, the Mayor toured different sections of the facility and received a briefing from the school’s management and instructors on technical training, youth skills development and preparing a skilled workforce to meet labour market needs.

The visit was part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise between the two capitals. The Mayor was accompanied by his Djiboutian counterpart, Mr. Said Daoud Mohamed (Saïd Daoud).
