Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Abdulkadir Elmi Ali, chaired a senior management meeting focused on strengthening institutional efficiency, coordination and service delivery.

The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing implementation, internal processes affecting delivery, and opportunities to strengthen digital systems across the Ministry.

The discussions highlighted the importance of modernising institutional systems to simplify procedures, enhance transparency and accountability, improve coordination among departments and strengthen the tracking of institutional performance.

The Director General stressed the need for clear ownership of priorities, stronger follow-through and measurable results across departments, emphasising that effective public institutions require systems capable of translating plans into consistent and tangible outcomes.

The meeting reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to improving its internal operations and strengthening its capacity to deliver more effective services to citizens.
