MoIFAR Leadership Reviews Institutional Priorities and Coordination

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, H.E. Abdulkadir, chaired the Ministry’s monthly leadership meeting, focusing on strengthening coordination, institutional performance and implementation of the Ministry’s priorities.

The meeting reviewed key areas under the Ministry’s mandate, including stabilisation, reconciliation, peacebuilding, federal affairs, civil registration, democratisation and ongoing programmes.

The discussions also focused on improving coordination among departments and ensuring that institutional efforts remain aligned with shared priorities and emerging demands.

The Director General stressed the importance of accountability, disciplined follow-through and effective collaboration across the Ministry, urging departments to translate plans into tangible results and consistently track progress against the Ministry’s broader mandate.
