Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Diplomat Kasim Ahmed Nur

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali received prominent former diplomat and politician Kasim Ahmed Noor at his office in Mogadishu to discuss national affairs, development and efforts to strengthen stability in Somalia.

The meeting focused on several issues of national importance, including the welfare of the Somali diaspora and the positive developments taking place across the country.

The two sides also discussed ongoing efforts to strengthen security, stability and comprehensive development throughout Somalia, as Noor recently returned to the country after nearly three decades abroad.

During his return, the former diplomat commended the visible urban development and progress in Banadir and other major cities, while praising the efforts of state institutions to consolidate security and stability across the country.
