Minister of Energy launches a 5-day manual borehole-drilling Workshop

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdullahi Bidhaan launched a 5-day manual borehole-drilling Workshop under the Horn of Africa Ground Water Resilience Project in Somalia, delivered by Practica, to boost affordable, drought-resilient water access nationwide.

The training is benefiting 20 engineers, along with development partner agencies and private drilling companies, as the Ministry works to strengthen local capacity for sustainable groundwater access.
