Minister of Energy Directs Acceleration of Groundwater Studies Across Somalia

MOGADISHU (SONNA) – The Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdullahi Bidhaan Warsame, met with consultants from Hydro Nova and Terre Solidale, who are supporting the implementation of the Groundwater for Resilience and Water Programme (GW4RP).

During the meeting, the Minister directed the consulting firms to expedite the completion of final technical studies and designs to pave the way for groundwater well drilling across all Federal Member States.

The initiative aims to support reliable access to clean water for communities across Somalia.
