Interior Ministry reviews implementation and institutional performance

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Abdulkadir Elmi Ali, chaired a high-level review meeting focused on strengthening the implementation of ministry projects and workplans and ensuring measurable institutional results.

The meeting assessed the progress of ongoing interventions, their alignment with the Ministry’s priorities and their contribution to Somalia’s broader national development agenda.

Discussions also examined how projects, strategies and upcoming workplans can be better coordinated under a unified institutional direction, with emphasis on strategic alignment, accountability and performance tracking.

The Director General stressed the need for stronger coordination and follow-up to ensure that resources, partnerships and programmes effectively support the Ministry’s priorities in governance, federal affairs, reconciliation and state-building.
