Interior Ministry Reviews Efforts to Strengthen Support for Refugees and IDPs

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, together with the Deputy Minister, H.E. Ahmed Hakim Ashkir, met with the leadership of the National Commission for Refugees and IDPs to review ongoing efforts, upcoming priorities and institutional support needed to strengthen services for refugees and displaced communities.

The discussion focused on accelerating priority actions, strengthening coordination and ensuring that the Commission is better positioned to respond to displacement-related needs.

H.E. Minister Hosh commended the Commission’s continued efforts, while emphasizing that stronger implementation, accountability and responsive services must remain at the centre of its work.
