Interior Minister visits Northeastern State’s Ministry of Interior

Laascaanood, (SONNA) — The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, visited the Ministry of Interior of North East State shortly after arriving in Las Anod, advancing discussions on stronger Federal State cooperation, institutional development, and improved service delivery.

During engagements with the Ministry’s leadership, the Mayor of Las Anod, and other senior officials, discussions focused on aligning development priorities, addressing essential community needs, and strengthening institutional coordination.

Minister Hosh commended the progress made in building public institutions and expanding development initiatives, emphasizing that effective federal cooperation must translate into stronger local governance, responsive services, and tangible results for communities.
