Interior Minister inspects newly completed Ministry headquarters in Boondheere district

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, alongside Director General of the Ministry Mr. Abdulkadir, today visited the Ministry’s newly completed headquarters in Bondhere District to assess final preparations ahead of its official inauguration.

The visit reviewed the overall readiness of the facility, including relocation arrangements, office setup, landscaping works, and preparations for the inauguration ceremony, as the Ministry enters the final phase of its transition to the new headquarters.

Set to reopen after more than three decades, the headquarters stands as a symbol of institutional recovery, resilience, and progress. Its restoration reflects the Federal Government’s continued investment in rebuilding public institutions, strengthening governance, and creating a modern and effective public service capable of serving the Somali people for generations to come.
