Interior Minister Meets Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities in Mentorship Programme

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, met with participants representing youth, women and persons with disabilities following the Intergenerational Dialogue Forum held earlier this month.

The participants are beginning a structured mentorship programme aimed at deepening their understanding of government and public service, while strengthening the role of communities and the public in shaping governance in Somalia.

As a ministry at the heart of state-building and governance, the Ministry remains committed to creating structured opportunities that bring different segments of society closer to government and strengthen public understanding of government institutions.

The programme also seeks to ensure that diverse perspectives are reflected in the Ministry’s work.
