Human Rights Commission Chairperson Meets EUCAP Somalia to Strengthen Cooperation

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Chairperson of Somalia’s National Independent Human Rights Commission, Dr. Maryan Qasim, met with EUCAP Somalia to discuss strengthening cooperation in promoting and protecting human rights and advancing the rule of law in Somalia.

The discussions focused on the Commission’s mandate and priorities, particularly human rights within the security sector, while exploring opportunities for enhanced cooperation and future collaboration.
