Galmudug Parliament Hears Presidential Candidates’ Policy Agendas

Dhusamareb(SONNA)-The Galmudug State Parliament convened its fourth session of the first parliamentary term to hear the election platforms of candidates for the state’s presidency and vice presidency.

The session was chaired by the Speaker Hussein Mohamed Nur, alongside First Deputy Speaker Abdikadir Ahmed Ali and Second Deputy Speaker Mursal Abdi Adam.

Presidential candidates Abdulkadir Abdullahi Diriye and Liban Ahmed Hassan, as well as vice-presidential candidates Abdistar Mohamed Gelle and Abdilwali Ibrahim Adam, presented their visions and proposed action plans for improving governance and advancing local development.

In his closing remarks, Speaker Hussein Mohamed Nur thanked lawmakers for their active participation and highlighted the significance of the process in advancing Galmudug’s political affairs.
