Galmudug House of Representatives Elects New Speaker and Deputies

Dhusamareb, (SONNA) — Members of the Galmudug House of Representatives have elected MP Hussein Mohamed Nur as Speaker of the House, securing 79 votes, while his rival, Ismail Abdi Jama, received 8 votes.

Abdulkadir Ahmed Ali was also elected as the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Galmudug regional state.

On the other hand, Mursal Abdi Adan was elected as the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Galmudug regional state.
