Finance Minister Attends 32nd Africa Group 1 Meeting at World Bank

Washington, (SONNA) — The Minister of Finance of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Bihi Iman Egeh, participated in the 32nd meeting of the Africa Group 1 at the World Bank, where he addressed the conclusion of his two-year term as representative of the 22 member countries of the World Bank's Development Committee.

The Minister thanked the governors and representatives of the member countries for the confidence, cooperation and support they showed during his tenure, during which he played an important role in discussions related to global development and the priorities of member countries.

During the meeting, the Minister handed over the position to the new chairman representing the Republic of Sierra Leone, congratulating him and wishing him success in fulfilling the duties assigned to him.
