Environment Minister receives private sector leaders

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Lt. Gen. Bashir Mohamed Jama, received private sector leaders in his office, including representatives from banks, telecom and energy companies, for discussions on strengthening collaboration in environmental protection, climate action and resilience.‬

The meeting highlighted opportunities for green investment, climate adaptation and greater private sector participation in climate initiatives. H.E. the Minister reaffirmed the importance of partnerships to support sustainable development and Somalia’s green economy.‬
