Education Ministry Concludes Three-Day Meeting on Modernising Work Systems

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Ministry of Education, Culture and Higher Education has officially concluded a three-day meeting focused on modernising its operational system and improving public services.

The meeting, held as part of the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen institutional capacity and improve services to the public, reviewed the current status of the Ministry’s institutions, organisational structure, systems and work procedures, while examining opportunities for reform and modernisation.

Key areas discussed included modernising the Ministry’s operational system, reviewing and restructuring its organisational structure, improving work systems and procedures, and facilitating and enhancing public services.

The meeting also focused on strengthening coordination among the Ministry’s departments, enhancing accountability and work efficiency, and developing a work system based on planning, performance and measurable results.

The meeting forms part of the Ministry’s plans to strengthen its institutional capacity and is expected to contribute to establishing a modern and accountable working system that delivers clear results and leads to quality and effective education services.
