Defence Ministry Holds Meeting to Strengthen Staff Performance and Accountability

MOGADISHU (SONNA) – The Ministry of Defence today held a general meeting with department directors and staff to discuss ways to improve institutional performance, accelerate work processes and implement priority plans.

The meeting was chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Yusuf Ali Mohamed, accompanied by the Director General for Personnel and Logistics, Mr. Ibrahim Adan Ibrahim, and the Director General for Defence, Mr. Abdulqadir Abukar Mohamed.

Discussions focused on strengthening accountability, fulfilling professional responsibilities and ensuring the effective implementation of the Ministry’s priority plans.

The Permanent Secretary emphasised the importance of collaboration, improving work quality and ensuring that staff carry out their duties efficiently and responsibly.

The meeting forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve operational processes, service delivery and overall institutional performance.
