Defence Minister Meets US Chargé d'Affaires In Mogadishu

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Defence of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, met with the US Chargé d'Affaires, Ms. Ruth Anne Stevens-Klitz, in Mogadishu.

The meeting focused on further strengthening the strategic partnership between Somalia and the United States of America in the defence and security sector.

The Defence Minister thanked the US government for its unwavering support for Somali government-led operations to eradicate terrorists who are a threat to Somalia and the region.
