Banadir Police Deny Reports of Road Closures in Mogadishu

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Banadir Regional Police Command informs the public in the capital Mogadishu that reports circulating on social media claiming that major roads will be closed and movement in the city halted are untrue.

The public is urged not to be misled by unverified reports circulated on social media and other platforms, and to rely only on official information issued by security agencies.

General movement in the capital Mogadishu is proceeding normally, and there is no general order to close roads or halt public movement.
