Auditor General Meets Favori LLC to Review Audit Recommendations

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Auditor General of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ahmed Issa Guutaale, accompanied by senior officials and advisors from the Office of the Auditor General, today held a meeting with Favori LLC’s Representative in Somalia, Mustafa Durgut, to review the implementation of audit recommendations related to the company’s management of revenue at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport.

The discussions focused on strengthening accountability, improving the company’s financial reporting, and ensuring the timely implementation of recommendations contained in previous audit findings.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of Favori LLC fully implementing its revenue-sharing agreement with the Federal Government of Somalia, including ensuring that the company’s financial statements are subjected to annual independent external audits.

For his part, Mustafa Durgut reaffirmed Favori LLC’s commitment to continuing its cooperation with the Office of the Auditor General to implement the audit recommendations and enhance transparency in the company’s financial reporting.
