Arab Parliament Condemns Attack on Qatari LNG Tanker, Expresses Solidarity with Qatar

Cairo, (SONNA) – The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the targeting of the Qatari liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker Al Mayeda while sailing in the Arabian Gulf, warning that such attacks pose a serious threat to regional security, maritime safety and global energy supplies.

In a statement, the Arab Parliament expressed full solidarity with the State of Qatar and support for measures taken to protect its security, maritime vessels and international trade. It also called on the international community to fulfil its responsibilities in safeguarding maritime navigation and international trade in accordance with international law.
