Beijing, China – On April 25th, H.E. Ambassador Awale Kullane addressed a distinguished audience at the United Nations building in Beijing during the launch of the Sino-Africa
Community Action Network on Sustainable Development. This event, hosted by the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), highlighted the collaborative efforts necessary to foster sustainable development across Africa.
In his keynote speech, Ambassador Kullane emphasized the critical role of partnerships between Africa and China in achieving sustainable development goals. The ambassador highlighted Somalia’s proactive contributions to environmental stewardship and social development initiatives.
The event brought together key stakeholders, including public and private sector leaders, to discuss the enhancement of sustainable practices among Chinese enterprises operating in Africa. Notable projects such as the Fosun Pharmaceutical and Huawei Action Projects were showcased, demonstrating the tangible benefits of these cooperative efforts.
