Barawe (SONNA) – Adan Gurow Isak, a member of the terror- group of Al-Shabab has surrendered to Somali National Army stationed in Barawe district of Lower Sh.region on Monday.
He has been member of the group for the last 7 years and operated many parts in southern regions.
Adan has denounced the ideology of the terrorists and ready to start fresh life, Army officials told SONNA.
The number of Alshabab defectors has increased in recent years as the group loosing a significant ground, SNA commanders confirmed.
The Somali government set rehabilitation centers for terrorist defectors across regional States, a move to support those who were brainwashed and misled by the terrorists.
