Mogadishu(SONNA)-At least 4 people were on Saturday killed and 6 other injured after a suicide bomber wearing a vest exploded at Suweys restaurant in Baidoa town, the administrative capital of Southwest State in Somalia, SONNA reported.
The Somali Government condemned the terrorist attack in the strongest terms possible to the heinous attacks against innocent civilians by the terrorist militant group of Al-Shabaab.
“The FGS condemns the cowardly attack in which at least 4 civilians have been killed and 6 others injured after a suicide bomber wearing explosives blew himself up at a restaurant in Baidoa town of Southwest State this morning. We hope speedy recovery those sustained injuries”, Government Spokesperson, Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimud said on twitter.
There are no comments from the regional administration of Bay region so far.
