Mogadishu(SONNA)-National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), in coordination with international partners, has killed 29 Al-Shabaab militants, including the group\u2019s chief explosives operative in Hiiraan region, during operations in Middle Shabelle and Hiiraan.<\/p>\n

NISA said 23 militants were killed, targeting a gathering of fighters near Masaajid Cali Gaduud in Middle Shabelle, where intelligence indicated the group was preparing attacks aimed at destabilizing the region.<\/p>\n

In a separate operation in Buq-aqable, Hiiraan, security forces killed six militants, including Abdirahman \u201cAbdi Mudallib,\u201d whom NISA identified as Al-Shabaab\u2019s explosives commander for the region and a key planner of attacks in Bulo-burde and Jalalaksi.<\/p>\n
