Barawe (SONNA):- The coastline of Barawe town in the Lower Shabelle region came alive on Tuesday morning with scenes reflecting both hope and hardship, as daily life unfolded along the shores of the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n
Among the striking images captured was a young Somali boy courageously battling the waves in search of a livelihood from the sea.<\/p>\n
The boy, fully aware of the value of hard work and survival, was seen bringing fish ashore to help support his family\u2019s daily needs. His determination and bravery in facing the powerful waves symbolize the resilience of many Somali children who learn the realities of life at an early age.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlthough the waves are strong, hope is even stronger,\u201d said Somali National Media reporter Mohamed Abdulkadir Silver, who captured the photographs documenting the scene. He further described it as \u201ca childhood raised by the sea and taught responsibility by life.\u201d<\/p>\n
Residents of the area said the ocean serves not only as a source of livelihood, but also as a \u201cschool\u201d that teaches children patience, endurance and resilience.<\/p>\n
