Nairobi, (SONNA) \u2014 The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia participated in the Implementation Support Mission for BOOST YOU (Baxnaano) in Nairobi, a week-long engagement to accelerate implementation and strengthen coordination with partners.<\/p>\n

The mission was officially opened by H.E. Prof. Salim Aliyow Ibrow, Minister of Labour & Social Affairs.<\/p>\n

Participants included World Bank TTL Ali Qureshi, WFP representatives, and Baxnaano Program Manager Fardosa Ahmed, who highlighted the program\u2019s importance to both the Government and the people of Somalia.<\/p>\n

The Director General of the Ministry, Mohamed Saney Dalmar, commended the progress achieved over the years and reaffirmed the Ministry\u2019s commitment to sustaining and strengthening the program.<\/p>\n

The Director of Social Affairs, Suhayb Dek Mahamoud, and senior advisors also shared key insights on improving social protection services.<\/p>\n
