Muscat, (SONNA) \u2014 The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalan Abdi Ali held a high-level meeting in Muscat with H.E. Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al-Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority, to advance strategic investment cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n

The discussions focused on unlocking Omani investment in Somalia across high-potential sectors, including livestock, fisheries and the blue economy, aviation, and other strategic industries, while emphasizing the importance of creating a conducive environment for public\u2013private partnerships and long-term capital flows.<\/p>\n

Both sides explored practical pathways to move toward structured investment engagement, reflecting growing international confidence in Somalia\u2019s economic trajectory and its strategic position connecting Africa and the Gulf.
