Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzumi formally submitted to the African Union the instrument of ratification of the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child, reaffirming Somalia\u2019s firm commitment to upholding and advancing the rights and welfare of children.<\/p>\n<p>The handover ceremony, held at the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa, was presided over by H.E.
