Mogadishu, SONNA \u2014<\/strong> The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has hosted a welcoming ceremony for a delegation of Puntland elders at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu.<\/p>\n

The delegation included Beeldaaje Mohamed Beldaje Ismail, Beldaje Ismail Beldaje Yasin, Sultan Mursal, Sultan Mohamud Haji Abdullahi, and other distinguished traditional leaders.<\/p>\n

The meeting focused on addressing the needs of the regions and strengthening cooperation between the public and government institutions, with an emphasis on advancing stability and sustainable development.<\/p>\n

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud underscored the important role of traditional leaders in promoting unity, peacebuilding, and community engagement across the country. He highlighted the government\u2019s commitment to working closely with elders to support reconciliation efforts and improve service delivery.<\/p>\n
