Ahmed Moallim Fiqi has extended his condolences on the passing of Brigadier General Yacquub Mohamed Siyad, former Commander of Danab and TurkSom.<\/p>\n<p>The late Brigadier General was a distinguished leader who played a significant role in rebuilding the Somali National Army. He took part in the 1977 war and was widely known for his expertise in defense and high-level leadership.<\/p>\n<p>He will be remembered for his historic promotion (12 ranks in a single day) and for his role in mentoring and training a new generation of soldiers.<\/p>\n<p>He also pursued studies in Defense and Strategic Studies at the National Defense University of China (2024\u20132025).<\/p>\n<p>May Allah have mercy on him.
