The high-level meeting focused on recalibrating the historical relationship between the two nations to prioritize economic integration and industrial development.<\/p>\n

The discussions centered on strengthening the long-standing diplomatic ties between Mogadishu and Rome, with a specific emphasis on expanding cooperation in the sectors of development, foreign direct investment, and industrial growth. Both officials reviewed the current economic landscape and explored mechanisms to facilitate a more robust exchange of expertise and capital between Somali and Italian enterprises.<\/p>\n

During the session, the Minister and the Ambassador reached a mutual understanding on the importance of generating new trade opportunities. They agreed on a strategic approach to encourage international investment aimed at boosting domestic production capacity.
