Abdisalam Abdi Ali, held high-level meetings on Saturday evening in Jeddah with his counterparts from Sudan, Kuwait, and Palestine on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), convened to discuss developments related to the Federal Republic of Somalia.<\/p>\n<p>During these meetings, the ministers addressed Israel\u2019s illegitimate recognition of the so-called \u201cSomaliland\u201d in northwestern Somalia. They firmly rejected any actions undermining Somalia\u2019s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, emphasizing that such moves are unacceptable under international law.<\/p>\n<p>H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali and his counterparts underlined the importance of upholding international legal principles while expressing their full support for all efforts aimed at safeguarding Somalia\u2019s national cohesion and stability.
