Abdullahi Sheikh Ismail (Fartaag), participated in the 93rd INTERPOL General Assembly in Marrakech, where global security leaders discussed international cooperation, cross-border crime prevention, the fight against scam networks, enhanced police capabilities, improved information-sharing, and the adoption of modern INTERPOL procedures.<\/p>\n<p>During the sessions, Minister Fartaag underscored Somalia\u2019s commitment to strengthening its role within INTERPOL, advancing international security cooperation, and securing technical support, capacity-building, and modern equipment for Somali security institutions.<\/p>\n<p>On the sidelines of the conference, Minister Fartaag, accompanied by Somalia\u2019s INTERPOL Chief General Mohamed Ali Dhoorre, held a bilateral meeting with China\u2019s Vice Minister of Public Security, Mr. Xu Datong.
