Mogadishu, (SONNA) \u2014 The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Da\u2019ud Aweys Jama, chaired a technical meeting with the Implementation Committee of the 2026 National Transformation Plan (NTP). The session brought together officials from the Office of the Prime Minister\u2019s Inclusive Governance Pillar and senior leaders from the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism.<\/p>\n

The discussions focused on the Ministry\u2019s 2026 priorities, particularly in the areas of information, culture, tourism and public awareness \u2014 all considered essential to the country\u2019s upcoming local elections.<\/p>\n

Minister Da\u2019ud Aweys urged ministry officials to ensure the effective execution of all activities and commitments outlined in the National Transformation Plan, emphasising the importance of achieving the targets set for 2026 and advancing the broader objectives of the NTP.<\/p>\n
