Mogadishu, (SONNA): The Second Deputy Speaker of the Somali Federal Parliament\u2019s House of the People, Hon. Abdullahi Omar Abshirow, paid a visit to the Maqasid Research and Studies Center. He was received by the Center\u2019s Chairman, MP Mohamed Sheikh Ahmed (Mohamed Xaaji), along with the institution\u2019s staff.<\/p>\n

During the visit, the Deputy Speaker and the Center\u2019s leadership discussed strengthening collaboration, the vital role of research in promoting good governance, and ways to enhance the educational programs the Center delivers to the public.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Speaker toured the various departments of the Center, commending the significant work being carried out. He also received a set of books and recent publications from the Center\u2019s officials.<\/p>\n
